Casino Facilities
In Alberta, there are currently 24 casino
facilities throughout the province. The expansion of gaming is carefully
managed and controlled. Even though the majority of casinos are privately
owned and operated, all requests for new facilities as well as the
expansion and relocation of existing facilities must be approved
and licensed by the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission.
