Charitable
Involvement |
Casino facilities require approximately
180 charities to operate year round. Charitable and religious
organizations must meet AGLC eligibility requirements to
obtain a casino event licence.
Traditional charities are not allowed to employ charity

The Host First Nation will operate
one host charity year round which meets AGLC eligibility
requirements for casino events licences.
Host First Nations charities will be allowed to employ
charity workers and pay them with gaming proceeds. |
Use of
Proceeds and Accountability |
The use of proceeds requirements for
the charity follows provincial gaming regulations and policies.
Prior approval of expenditures and detailed reporting is
required.
The AGLC will audit use of charitable gaming proceeds.

Integrity
and Security |
Must comply with AGLC Casino Terms & Conditions
and Operating Guidelines. The Casino Facility Licensee (operator)
and the Casino Event Licensee (charity) must be clearly separate
