Class E Licence (Liquor Manufacturing)
This class of licence must be obtained to
manufacture liquor in Alberta. Examples are distilleries, wineries,

The holder of a Class A licence may also apply for this licence for a brew pub

A cottage winery is a facility that manufactures wine for sale through the AGLC
and for off sales to the general public at the orchard/winery (farm gate) or
honey farm site. The licence authorizes the licensee to sell wine manufactured
