In November 2005 and March 2006, the AGLC (then Alberta Gaming) and Alberta Solicitor General and Public Security hosted two roundtable meetings in Edmonton and Calgary. More than 80 participants gathered to explore the issue of violence within the context of bars, nightclubs and other licensed premises.
